New ways of thinking are often born amid catastrophes. This pandemic has forced us to long isolation and silence, which have roused in us a desire for change that could help us getting out of this nightmare. The industrial world has always been very reluctant to changes and transformation, however these could be achieved more easily, if only we changed our perspective, adopting new ethics and behavior.
Our modus operandi has always been directed at a growing professionalism and full transparency. Today, we would like to reconsider our entire productive process, in order to learn to react and transform the factors that determine a negative event, acting with resiliency.
With a resilient approach, the pandemic becomes a more foreseeable and less scary event that has people at its core, or even better, a community of interconnected individuals, who are responsible for each other. This is maybe the most precious attitude that this pandemic has taught us. In our small way, we have taken care of each other, by social distancing and introducing protective aids into our daily work, and in 2021 we will continue to do so. A new way of reconsidering ourselves, to become a more flexible, attentive and empathic working community.
We are, and always will be, for the good things that life present us and change us profoundly: happy 2021 to you all, from Permeare staff.
