Fenavin, the most important wine fair in Spain has just ended: in just three days the number of business contacts has reached a historical record, about 411,000, as per the official data, far exceeding the previsions of the exhibition organization. This edition has seen 10% more visitors than the previous one; national buyers have increased by 16% and international buyers – coming from 90 countries – by 25% since 2015. The exhibition president José Manuel Caballero has estimated an economic return of 15 million Euros and has also announced the construction of 24,000 square meters of exhibition space to be annexed to the current trade fair pavilion.
“Not only are we the greatest wine producers, but also the main sellers in our country, and our challenge lies in keeping the prices in line with the producers’ efforts”, the President commented. “FENAVIN has become popular among an increasing number of people, but there’s more, they’re quite fond of the trade fair and are glad to come back because we actually help them do business”.
